Dr. Anthea Butler to speak at the 25th annual MLK Convocation

Dr. Butler will give her lecture, “From Selma to Charlottesville: How to confront and defeat racism in perilous times.”

 

The event is free and open to the public. Ticketing for the Convocation is not required; however, advance registration online is encouraged. To reserve your seats, please use the registration form.

The MLK Convocation, celebrating its 25th year, is an occasion for Loyola and the Baltimore community to launch the spring semester and the New Year by coming together for shared inquiry into legacies of race and racial justice in America. Past speakers have included Octavia Butler, Spike Lee, and Ta-Nehisi Coates.
